Kiss My Chainsaw is played on a 5-reel layout with an initial 4-4-4-4-4 row setup. During special features, the grid can expand to 5-5-5-5-5, unlocking more winning opportunities. Each win triggers a tumble effect — winning symbols are removed, and new ones drop down, allowing chain reactions for consecutive wins.

Wilds appear on reels 2 to 5 and can substitute for all regular symbols. There are three types of Wilds: the standard Wild, the Charged Wild, and the Chainsaw Larry Wild. Charged Wilds reduce the Gas Can fuel with each win, boosting multipliers for following avalanches until the fuel runs out. The Chainsaw Larry Wild is exclusive to Chainsaw Larry Spins, adding extra volatility to the bonus mode.

Scatter symbols only land on reels one, three, and five. If exactly two Scatters land on the same row, the Burnout feature is triggered. Burnout removes all symbols on the reels, including the two Scatters, before new ones drop down. When three Scatters appear, they trigger free spins. If the three Scatters land on different rows, the player receives eight spins in The Ride bonus. If all three land on the same row, nine spins are awarded in The Last Ride.

In this bonus round, the reel area expands to 5x5. Charged Wilds become even more powerful, climbing up to 4x multipliers before being removed. Landing two Scatters during the feature adds +1 spin, while three Scatters grant +3 spins and activate Chainsaw Larry Spins. If only two Scatters appear on the same row, the Burnout feature will also be triggered.

This mode plays out like The Ride but adds a guaranteed Scatter on reel 5, increasing the likelihood of retriggers and extended gameplay. With the same mechanics as The Ride, it delivers additional potential for explosive wins through enhanced Wilds and tumbling symbols.

Chainsaw Larry Spins are activated during The Ride or The Last Ride when three Scatter symbols land, awarding three extra spins. In this feature, an additional enhancer reel is introduced, and the paytable is upgraded to follow the Chainsaw Larry Spins payout values. Chainsaw Larry appears as a jumping Wild that moves to a new position on reels two to four with each spin. Whenever he lands on a character symbol, the win multiplier increases by +1. Each time Chainsaw Larry lands, he also reveals an enhancer symbol on the row he occupies. This will always trigger one of three modifiers: Smiley, xSplit, or Lucky Feet. The Smiley icon grants one extra spin. The xSplit enhancer doubles all multipliers between itself and the Chainsaw Larry symbol, and every character symbol it splits boosts the win multiplier by +1. Lucky Feet makes Chainsaw Larry jump to a different row and random reel position between reels two and four, leaving a standard Wild behind. If he lands on a Charged Wild, the Afterburner feature activates, which doubles symbol multipliers on that row. For example, if Chainsaw Larry lands on an initial Charged Wild, all symbols on that row are boosted to x4. If he lands on a x2 Charged Wild, all symbols on that row become x2.

The ultimate prize in Kiss My Chainsaw is capped at 10,900 times your base bet. If your total winnings during a round reach or exceed this limit, the game will immediately end that spin sequence and award the maximum payout of 10,900x.
