Dead Canary

The reel layout follows a 3-4-3-4-3-4 structure, initially appearing as 3-3-2-2-1-1, with three rows locked behind barriers. Winning combinations explode and create space for new symbols to drop in. After the winning symbols disappear, the remaining ones fall downward and then shift to the left before fresh symbols enter the grid. A locked row can be unlocked after a win, when an xBomb explodes next to a barrier, or through the Wild Mining feature. Multipliers positioned at the bottom are awarded whenever a barrier is removed and the symbol is destroyed, or if removing the barrier reveals a Scatter symbol.

Wild Mining activates in the base game when 3, 4, or 5 identical paying symbols form a diagonal line without creating a standard win. The triggering symbols are removed and replaced with Wild symbols in the central positions of the formation:

-3 matching symbols generate 1 Wild bomb
-4 matching symbols generate 2 Wild bombs
-5 matching symbols generate 3 Wild bombs

When a Wild bomb explodes, it increases the win multiplier by +1 for the following collapse. All regular symbols are destroyed during the explosion, except xBomb symbols. If a Scatter is caught in the blast, it will return in a random position during the next collapse.

Scatter symbols may appear on any reel position. However, if a Scatter lands behind a barrier, it will not become active until that barrier is removed. During Canary Freespins, Scatter symbols remain fixed in place. If a Scatter lands in a vault position, it will be moved to the nearest available space toward the center of the grid. There are two types of Scatter symbols:
-Gold Cage Scatter
-Silver Cage Scatter
Landing three Scatter symbols of any type will activate the Canary Freespins bonus round.

The xBomb Wild acts as a substitute for all symbols except Scatters. When triggered, an xBomb detonates in a cross-shaped pattern, destroying adjacent symbols — excluding Scatters and other xBombs — and increases the win multiplier by +1 for the following collapse. All active xBombs will explode before the next set of symbols drops in.

By paying an additional 40% on top of the base bet, the player receives a guaranteed Scatter symbol and unlocks the first barrier. The payout values for all symbols remain unchanged.

Landing three Scatter symbols of any type activates the Canary Freespins bonus. During this feature, the reel layout expands to 4-3-4-3-4-3-4, while the four corner vaults remain locked at the start.
Although locked, the vaults collect coins and multipliers from three adjacent positions. They can be unlocked by xBomb explosions. Once a vault opens, all collected values are paid out as a win at the end of the bonus round.

Scatter symbols begin with a 1x multiplier and are able to gather coins, multipliers, upgrades, as well as rat and dwarf enhancers. The Silver Cage Scatter collects in an X-shape one position away from itself.
The Gold Cage Scatter collects in an X-shape across the full rows.
All coin values are calculated as a multiple of the active bet. Scatter symbols and vaults stop collecting once 65,000x is reached. If multiple Scatters are present, the one positioned furthest to the left collects first.

Each Scatter starts with 3 hit points, and accumulated wins are only paid if the bird loses all hit points. xBomb and Gas symbols reduce a Scatter’s hit points by one. When a bird dies, it respawns inside its cage.
Canary Freespins begin with 3 spins, and any xBomb that appears resets the spin counter back to 3. When activated through a bonus buy, Scatter symbols are placed randomly on the grid.

The game offers a maximum payout of 65,000 times the base bet. If the total winnings reach or exceed this limit, the round immediately concludes and the full 65,000x base bet is awarded.
